Cooking It Up And Paper Cutz Challenge #1

This is my first time to join any card challenge. I am looking this morning about this challenges and decided why not join so that it will encourage me to make nicer cards than before. I am not a great card maker but I try my best to follow the rules. I saw few card challenges and I want to start at Cooking It Up With Katie. I like their creations and all looks pretty. Here are the instructions of the challenge.

1. An image of something that's been cooked or can be cooked;
2. Use some buttons;
3. Add a little something inside. This could be a decorated message mat, a pocket for a gift card or anything else you come up with.

The next Challenge is from Paper Cutz Challenge that i just saw this morning while visiting some card makers. The challenge is to Create a card or craft project using 3 kinds of patterned paper.

I tried to look at my materials then I found few items and the last thing in my mind are those buttons. I miss place it since I did not really use buttons when I make cards. But today i have few buttons in my card. I hope you will like it....

Materials used:
* Birthday cardstock paper
* white cardstock paper
* double sided card paper
* buttons
* embellishment
* rub-on words
* ribbon

I use birthday cardstock paper for my whole card then I put a two layers with a little thin patterned paper. The embellishments like the cupcake, then the birthday ribbon, rub-on make wish and the buttons.

This is the inside of my card in which i put a little thin soft yellow paper then put a yellow ink with the use of the foam. I put the happy birthday with the rub-on then a slice of cake with candle and a stars.
