The show takes place in a hair salon in Jersey that is called the Gatsby, and after watching just one show you are going to instantly fall in love with the different characters. Its like having a video camera in a beauty shop where there are fights over men and make up, and while people are trying to make or break their careers. You feel for the owner salon who is trying to bring new life to her business, and also make ends meat.

Olivia is the main character, and she is a make up stylist at the salon. She is trying to mentor another stylist that she works with, and you are always right along with her as she faces a number of different problems. Tracy is a hairstylist in the salon and she is Olivia's arch enemy, and watching these two go at it is a lot of fun, and you can't forget that Tracy is dating Olivia's ex boyfriend, which makes everything all the more interesting.
