Developments in Children’s Stuff

When we were young, we would remember taking baths and then getting wrapped in cloth diapers called bird’s-eye cloth. That would be our towels. When we get older, that would be the time that we will be given real towels, the same thing that adults use, only smaller. Eventually, in the generation of our children, we found that hoody towels became available. They are made of soft material, usually cotton, and shaped in squares. In one corner, there will be a fold that will look like a triangle at the edge, and that would constitute the hood of the towel. Hence the name hoody towel.

When the children would come out of the shower, the hoody towel is placed over their head and the rest of the towel will be wrapped around them. Others also use the hoody towel as a carrying towel for babies. When they go out, they swaddle their precious little ones in these towels. Very convenient.

But now, girls hoodies have taken another take. Now, they come in many different designs and can be worn over swimsuits before for after swimming. They are really cute. Some have animal ears on the hood and come in different attractive colors. There are just so many things that one can buy for their children nowadays, including these nice hoodies!
